Look at this beautiful and minimalist cup.
It has a simple spherical shape that is perfect to hold in hand in between sips of green tea or espresso.
It is decorated with gold veins that run through its smooth walls. It was inspired by Kintsugi- a Japanese technique of restoration ceramics. However, this is one whole piece, not glued together.
The decorative gold pattern is unique for each cup, there is no two identical.
It is handcrafted from English Bone China and painted with genuine gold.
It can be used for drinking or as a candle holder.
If you use it as a candle holder, put a small tea light candle inside and you will be amazed by the translucency of the walls (in white version of this cup).
The capacity of this cup is approx. 120ml (4 fl oz).
Approx 7cm/2.7" in diameter and 6cm/2,3" in height.
It would make an original gift for tea or coffee lover, cup collector, or new homeowner.
This listing is for one cup.
Hand wash recommended, do not use in microwave.
When used as a candle holder please remember to not leave lit candles unattended.
